On October 16, the global authoritative standards body BSI (British Standards Institution) formally presented the ISO 37301:2021 and GB/T 35770-2022 Compliance Management System certificates to Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Changan Automobile").
The certification covers the entire automotive process from R&D and manufacturing to procurement and sales, encompassing three key compliance areas: export controls and economic sanctions, personal information protection, and antitrust. It signifies that Changan Automobile’s compliance management system fully meets international standards. This certification not only serves as authoritative recognition of Changan Automobile's compliance management capabilities in its international operations but also stands as a typical case of the integration between globalized development and compliance management practices.
The certificate presentation ceremony was held at Changan Automobile's headquarters. Key attendees witnessing this important moment included Li Mingcai, Executive Vice President, General Legal Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer of Changan Automobile; Jiang Yue, General Manager of the Legal and Compliance Department and Director of the Personal Data Protection Office; Liu Luyang, Director of the Legal and Compliance Department; and Zhu Jiayun, Director of Standards Solution Applications for BSI Greater China.
In 2024, propelled by regulatory mandates, corporate strategy, and operational needs, Changan Automobile established a global legal and compliance management system under the guidance of its Vast Ocean Plan (globalization plan). The company will further advance the system's operation and digitalization, continuously review and iteratively optimize it, to fulfill its safeguarding function. This will support the steady and long-term development of Changan's globalization.
